Description and specifications
What is Adipotide?
Adipotide is an experimental peptidomimetic developed for research into targeting fat tissue blood vessels. The most well-known work comes from animal models, and human data is very limited.
Mechanism and Scientific Context
The molecule combines a targeting moiety that recognizes protein markers on the endothelium of fat tissue blood vessels and a pro-apoptotic sequence. The proposed mechanism aims to selectively disrupt the vascular support for adipocytes, but selectivity and safety have not been confirmed for clinical use.
Main Areas of Research
- targeted peptide delivery in vascular models
- prohibitin and fat tissue endothelium
- angiogenesis and adipocyte maintenance
- relationship between efficacy, selectivity, and toxicity
How to interpret research data?
When reading literature, check the identity of the material tested, the type of model, and the limitations of the study. The existence of work on a molecule does not confirm the properties of this product or its batch. Findings from laboratory and animal models do not prove clinical benefit.
Available Peptiva variants
- 5 mg · Lyophilized vial
- 5 mg · Research dispenser
Select the available variant and check its name, total content, and price. The photograph is not a substitute for the declaration of the selected variant.
Packaging format and content
Research dispenser: This variant contains a complete pre-filled dispenser with the selected content, not just a separate replacement cartridge. The quantity stated with the variant refers to the total declared content, not the amount per single use.
Lyophilized vial: This variant contains lyophilized material in a vial, without a dispenser. This description does not refer to bacteriostatic water or a separate empty container.
Storage and handling conditions depend on the specific formulation and batch declaration. The packaging form does not confirm sterility, dosing accuracy, stability, or suitability for human or animal application.
Important limitations
Adipotide is a highly experimental molecule with no confirmed therapeutic safety. Preclinical results do not justify personal use.
Batch documentation
For inquiries about available COA documentation, please contact peptivacomhr@gmail.com with the product name and LOT number if known. Availability and scope of analyses are checked for a specific batch. A COA does not inherently prove sterility or suitability for human or animal application.
Intended Use and Limitations: This product is intended for laboratory research use only. It is not intended for use in humans or animals, diagnosis, treatment, mitigation, or prevention of diseases. The description is not medical advice. The research-use-only designation and packaging name do not, by themselves, determine the regulatory status of the product or prove its safety or sterility.
COA on request
To enquire about a certificate of analysis (COA), send the material name, requested variant and LOT / batch number if available. Documents are not published on this page.
Request a COA by emailThe button opens your email app with a prepared enquiry. You send the message yourself. peptivacomhr@gmail.com
A COA applies to a specific batch. A purity result alone does not establish sterility, absence of endotoxins or safety for use in humans or animals.
