Description and specifications
What is KPV?
KPV is the lysine–proline–valine tripeptide and the terminal fragment of alpha-melanocyte-stimulating hormone (α-MSH). It retains part of the anti-inflammatory research profile of the parent molecule without full melanocortin activity.
Mechanism and scientific context
In cellular and animal models, KPV is associated with the modulation of NF-κB signaling, inflammatory cytokines, and epithelial barrier function. The exact contribution of classical melanocortin receptors and other pathways depends on the model.
Main areas of research
- NF-κB and inflammatory signaling
- intestinal and skin epithelial barrier
- cytokine response and immune cell migration
- relationship between α-MSH fragments and melanocortin receptors
How to interpret research data?
When reading the literature, check the identity of the tested material, the type of model, and the limitations of the study. The existence of work on a molecule does not confirm the properties of this product or its batch. Findings from laboratory and animal models do not prove clinical benefit.
Available Peptiva variants
- 10 mg · Lyophilized vial
- 10 mg · Research dispenser
Select an available variant and check its name, total content, and price. The photo is not a substitute for the declaration of the selected variant.
Packaging format and content
Research dispenser: the variant contains the entire filled dispenser with the selected content, not just a separate replacement cartridge. The quantity indicated with the variant refers to the total declared content, not the quantity per individual use.
Lyophilized vial: the variant contains lyophilized material in a vial, without a dispenser. This description does not refer to bacteriostatic water or a separate empty container.
Storage and handling conditions depend on the specific formulation and batch declaration. The packaging form does not confirm sterility, dosing accuracy, stability, or suitability for human or animal use.
Important limitations
Research findings do not prove efficacy for inflammatory or gastrointestinal diseases. The product is not for human consumption.
Batch documentation
For inquiries about available COA documentation, please contact peptivacomhr@gmail.com with the product name and LOT number if known. The availability and scope of analyses are checked for the specific batch. The COA itself does not prove sterility or suitability for human or animal use.
Intended use and limitations: The product is intended exclusively for laboratory research. It is not intended for human or animal use, diagnosis, treatment, mitigation, or prevention of diseases. The description is not medical advice. The research-use label and packaging name do not by themselves determine the regulatory status of the product or prove its safety or sterility.
COA on request
To enquire about a certificate of analysis (COA), send the material name, requested variant and LOT / batch number if available. Documents are not published on this page.
Request a COA by emailThe button opens your email app with a prepared enquiry. You send the message yourself. peptivacomhr@gmail.com
A COA applies to a specific batch. A purity result alone does not establish sterility, absence of endotoxins or safety for use in humans or animals.
