What is DSIP?
DSIP is a short nonapeptide, first described in research on brain signals associated with sleep. Its physiological role and endogenous pathways are not yet fully understood.
Mechanism and scientific context
Proposed effects include modulation of neurotransmitter, stress, and neuroendocrine systems, but no specific receptor has been confirmed to explain all findings. Results between studies are often inconsistent.
